Chaparral (Larrea tridentate) is an ancient herb, a shrub found in the southwestern United States and Mexico. This herb has been used by native people for a host of issues such as snake bites, lung issues, skin conditions, inflammation. It is an excellent blood cleanser and immune system booster.

Directions: taken alone, herbal tea can be made by steeping 2 teaspoons of chaparral in 8 oz of hot distilled water for 10-15 minutes. Drink 1-2 cups per day as need. The tea can also be used as a mouthwash. It pairs well with elderberry and sarsaparilla.
